GODDESS
GREEK - SPRING - ANNIE - LV 1
|
Post by PERSEPHONE on Dec 2, 2014 17:20:30 GMT -8
The sun shone across her back soaking the young goddess in rays of warmth. She missed the sun when she descended below, she missed the mirth it brought to her and the way it encouraged the flowers to grow. She was happy, that even in this strange city Persephone had found herself wandering within she could still enjoy it, for she feared the day she'd have to give it up again.
The goddess smiled softly as she continued her way through the strange realm, it reminded her of her Greek cities, though the architecture was inherently different and strange alien buildings would appear clashing the old with what she assumed was the new. She hardly interfered into the affairs of the mortal realm, she brought them spring time and blessed the young everything else she encountered was brought to her through death the realm her husband ruled.
She hummed lightly as she continued, stopping to drink in the realm, she paused in her tune as she investigated a mosaic and something clicked within her mind. Roman, of course, now she remembered. She felt foolish for not recognising it before.

SABINE - WAR/ROME - THADDEUS - LV 1

Post by Quirinus on Dec 2, 2014 18:04:34 GMT -8
Quirinus heard the gentle sound of a female voice humming a tune echo through his corner of the Between – he heard the sound before he sensed the presence of another deity. He was dressed much as he always was, the sun may have been shining down with the heat of an Italian summer but that did not alter the god’s dress. He sauntered along the cobblestone roads, past the stone and marble buildings, past the great concrete and glass ones too, without even noticing the oddity of the clash.
Turning a corner he noticed the beautiful young maiden studying a mosaic, flowers all entwined in her hair, and skin as white as milk, every inch of her full of life and warmth. Quirinus approached gently, but he made no attempt to hide the noise of his graceful footfall.
“Dionysos riding his panther, I remember the house this was in: it belonged to one of the great actors of Rome, the parties that happened there I am sure would have pleased the god.”
He smiled warmly and shook his a little disapprovingly – but more in the manner of a parent who was tired with the cavorting of youths. Truly Quirinus did feel like this at times when it came to his charges.
“What brings you here to my space in all this?”
Quirinus enjoyed company, despite the indication that his sometimes stiff and arrogant persona gave.

The foreign voice – one which Persephone didn’t recognise broke her from her musings. Turning around swiftly she stared wide eyed and with an apology ready at her lips.
“Oh certainly,” said Persephone relaxed by the warm smile, worries at ease Persephone’s gaze flickered back to the mosaic and she smiled. “I imagine he’d be more than impressed where this image resided.” She knew exactly what the god was like – her mother had warned her as much – though Demeter had warned her about every male god; protective was an understatement.
“I admire his courage,” said Persephone as she gazed at the mosaic her lips quirking into a smile. “I- I didn’t mean to intrude, I was wandering and I saw the city,” she’d always been quite curious if she could die, it would probably be her fatal flaw. “It’s very beautiful.” she stated her gaze flickering upwards. It was vast and filled with a number of buildings that resembled the Ancient Greek architecture though some, some were foreign with strange designs.
“My apologies, I didn’t introduce myself, I am Persephone.” She smiled.
