Eros [break] WHAT DOES YOUR CHARACTER MEAN TO THEIR CIVILIZATION? [break] Eros is the God of Love, hence, people subconsciously pray to him in hopes that their love life would go smoothly (or smoother than the predicament they are in now). He is important in the several stories the mortals know of about the gods and goddesses of Olympus, but other than that, well, he's the God of Love. What else is there to say? That he's the solution to the friend zone? [break][break] WHAT LEGENDS REVOLVE AROUND YOUR CHARACTER? [break] He is most known for making mortals fall in love at first sight, or his story with Psyche, whom he still loves dearly. That's pretty much it, isn't it? Making gods and mortals fall in love with each other with a strike of his arrow? He is indirectly and directly linked to many myths and legends that involve countless gods and goddess, heroes and heroines alike - where love could be their happy ending or their downfall. [break][break] HOW WAS YOUR CHARACTER BORN/CREATED? [break] "I'm a walking contradiction, just so you know," poets have described Eros to either be the oldest among the gods, or the youngest, depending on where he had come from. If the first, he was present during the creation of the world, bringing peace and harmony with it. In the latter, he is the son of Aphrodite, but his father seems to be in debate (with some sources saying Ares but with others to Hermes. Ares is the more commonly accepted father though). Basically, if you ask who his parents are, or if he has any parents at all, he'd probably vary his answers or dodge the question, "The humans couldn't figure out where I came from, so I just decided to let that part of me die. As long as I'm here, my past shouldn't matter, right?" [break][break] WHAT DOES YOUR GOD LOOK LIKE? [break] "You mention anything about a diaper and I swear I will kick your ass," Eros often takes the appearance of a young man in his twenties, but there are times where he randomly takes the form of a child. The first is his preferred choice though, and if he's in the mood for it, he may try to seduce you with his looks. But don't worry, he likes making other people fall in love with each other rather than getting himself involved. So in terms of physical looks, he's probably going to look like a handsome celebrity (because that's what mortals are into, apparently) and a good set of clothes. [break][break] WHAT DOES YOUR GOD ACT LIKE? [break] He's the resident 'cool cat', the guy that usually has a smirk on his face, especially if he messes with you without you realizing it. He's usually laid back, but can get rather enthusiastic when it comes to using his powers (because the god of love has caught up with the times and is very much into shipping). In a very serious situation, he'd probably be the one trying to crack a joke or have a lopsided grin and whistle a tune. He knows where the line is drawn, yet doesn't mind stepping on a few toes as long as he's sure he can get away with it. [break][break] WHAT ARE THEIR PRIMARY DUTIES TO THEIR PEOPLE? [break] [break][break] WHAT POWERS DOES YOUR CHARACTER POSSESS? [break] [break][break] HAVE YOU READ ALL THE SITE RULES? [break] Yep~ [break][break] DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FOR THE STAFF? [break] Nope c: [break][break] DO YOU PLAY ANY OTHER CHARACTERS ON TR? [break] Morpheus c: They sometimes conspire with each other when it comes to messing with lovestruck people and their dreams. |
