THE STORY
The storm is rumbling.
"Speirling" is a word from the Ancient Tongue meaning "gathering storm".
This is Speirling.
Speirling is a continent that encompassing seven kingdoms on the brink of war: Eacharnach, the Land of the Horselords, Gaothaidh, Land of the Wise, Foirfich, Land of the Warriors, Teumnach, Land of the Fae, Muireach, Land of the Seafarers and Pirates, Sgaithte, Land of the Dragonriders, and Riasglach, Land of the Underdogs.
Inspired, in part, by the Medieval and Renaissance eras of Western Europe, Swords of Speirling offers an original environment for writers who wish to explore the human(oid) spirit, and get a little silly while we're at it. How much and what you write is no one's business but you're own. We invite you to play in a world that is both dark and ridiculous, with the themes of action-adventure, political intrigue, satire, and of course, fantasy.
